Explorer Scouts is the newest, most exiting youth section of Scouting. To borrow a few appropriate catchphrases it's about seeing the world; living life to the max; meeting exciting and interesting people; learning through experience and pushing yourself to the limit.

It's only celebrating it's 5th birthday in 2007 yet already Explorers have met an extraordinary number of challenges and tried more things than most people dream of.

It's not for everyone: you have to be able to meet challenges head on; be able to both excel as an individual and as part of a team; and mostly you need to want to get as much out of life as you can.

Our local district, including Kingswood, Chipstead, Reigate, Redhill, Merstham & South Nutfield is the most successful Explorer Scouting district in the whole of Surrey. We have a skilled, enthusiastic leadership team and scores of Explorers hungry to experience life.
